Methode Traditionelle Petillant 2014 (12 Bottle Case)

Methode Traditionelle is a French term used to describe a sparkling wine that is made by secondary fermentation in the bottle in which it is sold.

This wine is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes that were grown in the cool climate Hilltops wine region (near Young) in SW New South Wales.

The juice was barrel fermented and matured for 20 weeks in older French oak barriques.
It was  disgorged early November 2016 after nearly two and a half years “en tirage”
This a virtually bone dry aperitif style which will be perfect for festive season drinking and right through the warmer months.
With 2 years bottle age (June 2018) it has complex toast, honey and straw characters and is drinking superbly.
