    2008 Chardonnay

    2007-Mistletoe-ChardonnayPerfect fruit, harvested, before the rain, from the Mistletoe Home Vineyard and another in the Broke area.

    Whole bunch pressed with total barrel maturation in a combination of new and older French oak puncheons.

    Full flavoured, generous palate with pronounced upfront melon and stone-fruit characters balanced by creamy oak and crisp acid finish

    2008 Reserve Semillon

    2007-Mistletoe-Reserve-SemillonSingle vineyard wine.

    The 5th vintage of Semillon from a vineyard located near the Hunter River at Belford.

    The grapes for this wine were harvested prior to the disastrous rain in February 2008. Intense lime and mineral characters on the palate with a clean, crisp and long finish.

    Cellar with confidence until 2016.

    2006 Shiraz

    2005-Mistletoe-ShirazA blend of Shiraz from several Hermitage Road vineyards.

    From a hot and very dry year, bottled in November 2007.

    This wine did not show its true colours until it had spent 6 months in bottle and then - Wow! A great example of 100% Hunter Shiraz. Dark, tangy, black fruit characters with an intense long palate and finish.

    Cellar to 2015.

    2008 Barrel Fermented Rosé

    2007-Mistletoe-Barrel-Ferment-RoseAs with The Rose 2008 this wine was made from Shiraz grapes grown in the Hilltops ( Young) region of NSW.

    Fully fermented and matured in older French oak puncheons.

    A substantial Rosé nearly bordering on a light dry red wine.

    Dark cherry flavours, dry and savoury on the palate with oak barely noticeable but supporting the wine’s structure.
