2009 Hilltops Merlot

100% cool climate Merlot from the Young (Hilltops) region in South-Western NSW.

As with the Cabernet, traditional winemaking in small open vats was followed by maturation in a variety of older French oak barrels.

A fuller bodied wine that is deep purple red in colour. It shows good palate weight and length accompanied by ripe red currant and plum flavours.

Drink now to 2020.
