2007 was a fantastic year for producing high quality grapes in the Hunter Valley. This wine was made from grapes grown on the Mistletoe Home Vineyard and another Hermitage Road site.
Traditional crushing and open vessel fermentation was followed by extended barrel maturation which increased the softness and complexity of the wine prior to bottling.
Whilst exhibiting typical Hunter earthiness, plummy, spicy flavours abound within a framework of smooth tannins and beautifully integrated oak.
